Workspace settings
Overview
Managing your workspace settings is essential for ensuring smooth collaboration and consistent campaign management within your team. These settings affect how your workspace is identified, how campaigns are scheduled, and how sending limits are enforced to protect your sender reputation. Understanding each option allows you to tailor the workspace environment to best fit your team’s workflow and campaign needs.
Workspace Name
The Workspace Name is the label displayed to all members within this workspace. It acts as the primary identifier for your team when accessing or switching between multiple workspaces. Choosing a clear and recognizable name helps members quickly understand which workspace they are working in, especially if they belong to several.
Changing the workspace name does not impact any active campaigns, data, or configurations; it only updates how the workspace is labeled in the interface.
How to Change Your Workspace Name
- Navigate to the Sidebar and click on Settings.
- Select the General tab.
- Locate the Workspace Name field.
- Enter the desired name that clearly represents your team or project.
- Click Save to apply the change.
Changing the workspace name is safe and will not affect your campaign data or member permissions.
Default Campaign Timezone
The Default Campaign Timezone sets the timezone automatically applied to all new campaigns created within this workspace. This setting is crucial because it determines the timing for scheduling emails, sending them, and how timestamps appear in your reports.
For example, if you set it to “Chicago, United States (UTC-06:00),” all new campaigns will use this timezone unless you specify otherwise for individual campaigns. This ensures consistency in when your messages go out and how you interpret performance metrics.
Adjusting Timezone for Specific Campaigns
While the workspace default provides a baseline, you can override the timezone on a per-campaign basis if your campaigns target audiences in different regions.
- When creating or editing a campaign, find the timezone setting.
- Select the appropriate timezone for that campaign.
- Save your changes to apply the new timezone.
Default Sending Delay (minutes)
The Default Sending Delay defines the minimum time interval, in minutes, between sending individual messages. This delay applies globally across the workspace, affecting both manual sends and automated campaigns.
Controlling the sending speed with this delay helps reduce the risk of being flagged as spam and improves overall email deliverability. It acts as a baseline safeguard to ensure your messages are sent at a pace that maintains good sender reputation.
Setting the Sending Delay
- Go to Settings in the Sidebar.
- Click on the General tab.
- Find the Default Sending Delay (minutes) field.
- Enter the minimum number of minutes you want between each message send.
- Save your changes.
A reasonable sending delay can significantly improve your inbox placement and reduce bounce rates.
Default Daily Maximum for Campaign Sends
To protect your sender reputation and avoid overwhelming recipients, the Default Daily Maximum for Campaign Sends limits the total number of messages sent per day across all campaigns in your workspace. This cap is enforced at the workspace level and acts as a protective boundary.
Individual campaigns may have their own daily limits configured, but they cannot exceed the workspace default maximum unless you update this setting. This helps you maintain control over your overall sending volume.
How to Configure Daily Sending Limits
- Open Settings from the Sidebar.
- Select the General tab.
- Locate the Default Daily Maximum for Campaign Sends field.
- Enter the maximum number of messages you want to allow per day.
- Click Save to confirm the limit.
Tips for Managing Sending Limits
- Start with conservative limits to build sender reputation gradually.
- Monitor campaign performance and adjust limits as needed.
- Coordinate with your team to avoid exceeding the workspace cap.
