Important Settings After Connecting
Setting daily sending limits and configuring deliverability options help protect your email reputation and improve inbox placement rates. These settings control how many emails you send per day and manage warm-up and rotation strategies.
Understanding Deliverability, Warm-up, and Rotation
Email deliverability is critical to ensuring your emails reach the recipient’s inbox instead of their spam folder. Salesnode provides tools to help you maintain high deliverability through warm-up and rotation processes.
Deliverability
Deliverability refers to the likelihood of your emails successfully arriving in your recipients’ inboxes. Poor deliverability can reduce your campaign effectiveness significantly.
Warm-up
Warming up your mailbox involves gradually increasing the number of sent emails over time. This process builds trust with email providers and reduces the risk of being flagged as spam.
Rotation
Rotation means alternating between multiple mailboxes to distribute your sending volume. This helps prevent any single mailbox from being overused and improves overall deliverability.
Properly configuring warm-up and rotation after connecting your mailbox can significantly boost your email campaign success.
Configuring Your Mailbox Settings
Once your mailbox is connected, you should configure key settings like daily sending limits, warm-up schedules, and rotation preferences. These settings ensure your emails are sent safely and effectively.
How to Configure Settings
- Go to the Mailboxes tab and select the connected mailbox.
- Click Edit settings or the gear icon next to the mailbox name.
- Set your preferred daily sending limit based on your email provider’s guidelines.
- Enable warm-up if your mailbox is new or has low sending volume.
- Configure rotation if you plan to use multiple mailboxes for your campaigns.
- Save your changes to apply the configurations.
Troubleshooting Connection Issues
Sometimes, connecting your mailbox may encounter issues due to authorization errors or incorrect SMTP settings. Here are common troubleshooting tips to help you resolve these problems.
Gmail
For Gmail, ensure you have enabled the necessary API permissions and that your Google account allows third-party app access. Check that two-factor authentication is handled properly.
Always verify your credentials and permissions carefully to avoid connection failures.
